Daddy and I are driving to Ohio right now. I haven’t written to you for over a month!!! We had a very busy month and I will tell you all about it.
The kids were up at our house for a little over three weeks. We had the 20 week appointment where we got to find out if you were a boy or a girl. All of the kids got to come with us. They LOVED it, they got to see you for the first time up on the screen rolling around in my belly. They gave us the results in a sealed envelope.
That was on a Monday. On our way down we all stopped at a place called Great Wolf Lodge for the Madeline, Connor and Sarah’s birthday. I wore a bikini with my baby bump, despite your grandmother trying to persuade me otherwise. I was worried people wouldn’t think I was pregnant, and assume I had a beer belly. Turns out, it was obvious I was pregnant. You went on a bunch of waterslides with us, it was a great time. The hotel room had bunk beds for the kids and they loved it. The girls would rub cocoa butter on my belly to help prevent me from getting stretch marks as you grow!
Daddy and I kept the envelope until we got to Virginia Beach and we gave it to your grandma to take to the balloon store. On Thursday night we ended up doing the reveal early because the weather was going to be too bad to do it on Friday. Dad, Amber and Eric couldn’t be there and I was very sad about that, but they Facetimed in to find out with all of us if you were a boy or a girl. Nana and Pap Pap were there, Lissa and Kevin, Harrison and Wesley Aunt D and Uncle Andy and all your cousins were there too. Daddy and I opened the box with all of the kids too and BLUE balloons popped out. You are a BOY!!!!!!
After Nana, Pap Pap, Dana, Andy, Peyton & Brody all left to go back to Ohio, Kevin and Lissa took us out on the boat and to the beach. We had a great time. You either didn’t like the sun, or were growing because you made mommy very tired. But it was a relaxing fun day for everyone.
